How Do I Join?

We plan to recruit 1500 women into the AMBER study over a period of 5 years. Recruitment will be done from both Calgary and Edmonton.

In Calgary, recruitment will occur through a variety of different mechanisms. Principally, participants will be recruited through their involvement with the Alberta Cancer Research Biorepository (ACRB) and their willingness to be contacted for additional research. In addition, participants may join the study by contacting the Calgary study coordinator at 403-698-8067.

In Edmonton, recruitment will occur at the Breast Cancer Clinic in the Cross Cancer Institute where potential participants will be approached directly by AMBER study staff. Alternatively, participants may join the study by contacting the Edmonton study coordinator at 780-492-8274.
