The Alberta Cancer Foundation

The Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) strives to make Alberta the leader in cancer prevention and care. The ACF brings together donors, patients, health care providers, and researchers together to invest in a cancer free future. Investments are aimed towards initiatives and programs that will lead to research and programs that have a clear impact for patients, earlier cancer detection, and improved treatments and an enhanced quality of life.

Get Involved

Alberta Cancer Foundation Golf Classic 

This golf classic tournament helps to raise funds for Patient Financial Assistance Programs, who help provide financial assistance to families facing cancer.

CIBC Run for the Cure 

1 in 8 Canadian women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, your support matters! This year the run will look a little different. The event will be held virtually in order to maintain physical distancing requirements. The core elements of developing connections with teammates, making new friends, fundraising and a high energy fun warm-up are still incorporated into the event!
